Windsurfing: Pevensey Wind Direction: S Wind Stength: 30mph Surf / Sea State: wavey Air Temperature: ok Sea Temperature: ok Weather: sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Got a great session in at Pevensey well before anyone else turned up. I
was under orders to be back by midday, so my sights weren't set too high,
knowing it would be cold, onshore and high tide, but it was actually really
good. The shorebreak was ok and predictable, although I got munched a
couple of times. The wind was constant and perfect for my 4.5m and there
were some huge ramps for jumping - for some reason the jumping was very
comfortable today. I think it was just the size of ramps, so 5ft in the
air would see you floating 15ft down to land in a trough that you could
sail along rather than brace yourself for the next ramp . I had just over
an hour of nice cross on (with the bias to on) blasting and jumping in the
sunshine - and it wasn't cold like I was expecting. It was a bit like
Camber without all the whitewater.
